Rex Pruitt, PREMIER Bankcard and SDSUG (South Dakota SAS Users Group), was the Ambassador of the Month for June.

Jack Dyvig, Sioux Falls Morning Optimist Club, was the Diplomat of the Month for June. Lisa Schultz, Sioux Empire Safety Village, took second place honors and Julie Nelson, Great Western Bank, took third place honors for June. Nancy VanOtterloo, First PREMIER Bank, was the Reinvestment Blitz Winner for June. The June Diplomat Team of the Month included: Captain Jack Dyvig, Sioux Falls Morning Optimists Club; Julie Nelson, Great Western Bank; Jill Melchert, Farmers Insurance Group-Jill Melchert Agency; Wendy Bergan, YMCA; and Janel Cole, Postnet SD 103.

Members of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Ambassador Committee and Associate Ambassadors participated in a two-week "Summer Splash" July 6-16 to promote membership in the Chamber. During this individualized competition, volunteers sold new memberships as well as retained current members. Prizes were awarded to the individual who sold and retained the highest percentage of points from sales and retained memberships as well as to the individual who retained the highest percentage of retained memberships. Liz Lloyd, Lloyd Companies, won first place in the sales and retention area and Ritch Noble, McKinneyOlson Insurance, won first place in the retention area. Congratulations to all the volunteers who participated in the successful event and a special thank you to American Eagle Airlines for donating two round-trip airline tickets and Sanford Health for donating tickets to a Minnesota Timberwolves game.

Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce

Susan Seachris joined the staff of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce as the administrative/accounting assistant. Seachris previously worked for Avera Health Plans and the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Lisa M. Schultz is the new Director of Development for the Sioux Empire Safety Village, which is a non-profit agency that promotes safety awareness.

LifeLight Communications, Inc. hired Justin Ingalls as Development Director.

Kathy Dunn is the new compliance manager for Dollar Loan Center. Previously, Dunn was a consultant assisting clients to ensure compliance in all aspects of the law and regulation for the banking industry.

Fresh Produce received a National Silver ADDY® for a sales promotion campaign brought to life for the SDSU math department. The same campaign received a Gold ADDY® at the District Eight ADDY® Awards competition.

Steve Herman, Coffee News, received The Ambassador Award at the Coffee News international conference.

Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director Teri Ellis Schmidt received the Distinguished Service Award at the National High School Coaches Association National Convention, held in Sioux Falls.
