Sioux Falls has a lot going on all year long, but July brings non-stop events and activities for both residents and tens of thousands of visitors.
“Sioux Falls is known as a great event city, and July is proof of that! From all the events going on to vacationers visiting the city, July proves to be one of our busiest months of the year,” said Teri Schmidt, Executive Director of the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau.

An $8 million investment from the City of Sioux Falls to improve the greenway along Big Sioux River downtown has spurred at least $100 million of private development downtown. Sioux Falls has received another great accolade: POLICOM ranked Sioux Falls No. 9 on their 2012 Economic Strength Ranking of the 366 Standard Metropolitan Areas, right behind Kansas City and one above San Antonio. POLICOM Corporation is an independent economic research firm specializing in analyzing local and state economies.
