Selling Sioux Falls
For more than 40 years, the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted Sioux Falls to the masses — helping sell and market the city to group tour operators, meeting planners, tour guides, journalists and visitors alike.

National Travel & Tourism Week is celebrated May 3-11, with a goal of recognizing the impact travel and tourism have on the economy. Each year the CVB hosts its annual visitor industry luncheon to celebrate the local hospitality industry; it will be held this year on May 13 with Captain Mark Kelly as the keynote speaker. ...Read Full Story

Keith SeversonTelling the Sioux Falls story
Telling the Sioux Falls story never gets old. We have so many exciting things taking place here that it's a privilege to talk about our community and to share the ways that we have overcome obstacles and come together for the greater good.

This past week our Chamber leaders had the opportunity to visit with our counterparts from Billings, Mont., as part of a leadership exchange they called an "Aspirational City Visit." Billings is a smaller city than Sioux Falls and their leaders wanted to come here to learn about our successes. Just some of the things they learned about or saw on their whirlwind tour included the upgrades to the Sioux Falls Regional Airport, the new facilities in the Sports & Entertainment District, the improvements made at our Great Plains Zoo, and how our community is able to rally public and private support to get things done. ...Read Full Story
